Planning a funeral can be a difficult task for many
people to undertake, but then you quickly realize that
you are going to be asked many questions about things
that you want. One of those questions that you could be
asked is if you want to have any form of illumination on
the grave marker. However, you will want to ask yourself
some questions first to determine is lighting for
headstone necessary or not.
One thing to consider would be if you are going to be
visiting at night. If you are going to visit at night
you might want to consider getting this because you will
be able to see your loved ones site and be able to know
that you're at the right spot.
You will also want to answer the question of is the
extra cost going to be worth it. If you can justify the
extra expense then you might want to get these, but you
will want to make sure that you price them since it can
be expensive to have one of these.
You will also want to find out what the policy is for
the cemetery that you are going to have your loved one
in. If the cemetery does not allow these then you will
not have to worry about the answer to this question. So
make sure that you check on this prior to purchasing
these.
You are going to need to know how much the annual or
monthly upkeep cost of this item could be. For some of
them they could use the simple solar lights so that you
only have to replace the batteries every so often, but
for others they could have it set up differently and you
might have to change batteries on a monthly basis or
tend to it more often than what you want to.
Having to lay a loved one to rest can be a hard thing to
do. However, when you are in the planning stages you are
going to want to ask some questions to see if lighting
for headstone is necessary for your family member. Once
you have those answers you will know if you should have
these or not.
