The loss of a pet can be an extremely difficult
experience-your pet is a daily companion and probably
considered a part of your family. Fortunately, your

Your pet's passing can be an overwhelming experience,
and sometimes it's difficult to make rational choices
about burial or cremation procedures in the midst of
your grief. While some pet owners choose to bury or
allow their vet to dispose of their pet's body, other
owners wish to cremate and then keep the cremains in pet
urns and memorials.
Pet cremation usually takes place at your veterinarian's
office or at a crematory associated with your vet's
office. It is a quick and humane process. Your vet can
give you guidance about options for handling your pet's
