4 Reasons Why You Should Plan Your
Funeral Before You Die

Hi everyone. For this article, I am going to talk about
a very difficult and personal subject. I am going to
talk about funerals, and specifically 4 reasons why you
should plan your funeral before you die. Many people
never think about their funeral and what they would
like. The end result is that they die suddenly and their
family is left wondering just what their loved one would
have liked with the wedding. To help convince you, here
is my list of 4 reasons why you should plan your funeral
before you die.
1. Your Wishes
This is by far the most important reason to pre-plan
your funeral before you die. You will know with 100%
certainty that your wishes will be carried out. What
type of music do you want played at your funeral? Do you
want to be buried or cremated? By making these
decisions, you can be assured that this is what will
take place. After all, if there is an after-life, you
want to be satisfied with how the funeral went, right?
2. Helping Your Family
This is another really important reason to pre-plan your
funeral. If you do not make these difficult decisions,
you will force your family to have to make these
decisions for you. They will be going through a lot of
grief when you die, and these decisions will only add to
their stress. In addition, they will be worrying that
they might make the wrong decision and pick something
that you wouldn't have liked. By pre-planning your
funeral, you can spare your family a lot of grief.
3. Your Family's Thoughts
Many people don't look at it this way, but by planning
your own funeral, you may improve how people think of
you after you died. Planning your own funeral is an
incredibly selfless thing to do. You are saving your
family a lot of additional grief, and that is something
your family will always remember about you. They will
remember just how considerate you were in making sure to
make these difficult decisions for them.
4. Cost
If you write out a contract with a funeral director, you
can rest assured that finances will be taken care of.
For instance, if a contract is written, you can be sure
that your funeral director won't later try and collect
extra money from your family after you have died. If
it's all in writing, your funeral director will know
what you want, and no additional costs will be added.
I hope this article has helped convince you to pre-plan
your funeral before you die. This is something I feel
strongly about, and I highly encourage those I know to
pre-plan their funerals. Think long and hard about it,
